After graduating from the University of Southern California Law School, Julianna worked as an associate attorney for Littler Mendelson, PC., a top national employment defense firm. In 2003, she opened her own boutique law firm representing employees and employers in all aspects of workplace disputes, specializing in discrimination and retaliation litigation. Needing more of a work and family balance with two active kids, Julianna's litigation practice evolved into a workplace investigation practice. Julianna's clients ranged from Fortune 500 Companies and government agencies to start-ups and small businesses. Julianna was named a Legal Rising Star by the Black Women Lawyers Association and was selected as a Pasadena Magazine Top Lawyer. Celebrating 20 years of a successful law practice, Julianna closed her law firm in February 2023.
