Dr. Williams has a computer science-related career as a data scientist at Warner Bros. He earned a Ph.D. in physics from UCSB, was a postdoc at Caltech, and moved on to do data science in the defense, health care, and entertainment industries. Dr. Williams' daily work at WB involves using math and coding skills to explore data and build models, learning new algorithms from technical articles, communicating with business leaders, and supervising junior data scientists.
