Mr. Ryan is a wildlife biologist, avian ecologist, professor, and doctoral student. He has worked with the recovery teams for the California Least Tern, Western Snowy Plovers, Peruvian Tern, and the bi-national research team for the Least Tern in the US and Mexico. He works with State and Federal Agencies and the private sector in California on endangered species detection and recovery. He is currently working on his doctorate at CICESE, a research institute in Ensenada. He teaches biology, zoology, and marine biology at Pasadena City College and Rio Hondo College.
